Representative Accomplishments from the Office of the First Vice DR

I. Delivering on the Mission

  • Executed all responsibilities of the First Vice District Representative with integrity, precision, and accountability.

  • Fully supported and advanced the District Representative’s vision of “Brothers First, Omega Always.” which has led to one of the most productive district councils in recent memory.

  • Traveled extensively throughout Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania—representing the Second District with dignity and strengthening bonds of Friendship at chapter programs, service initiatives, and public events.

II. Excellence in Duties Assigned by the District Representative

  • Planned and executed two exceptional James S. Avery, Sr. Shirtsleeve Leadership Conferences, achieving high engagement and participation from undergraduate and graduate Brothers.

  • Strengthened District-wide readiness for all major International Meetings by producing:

    • 84th Grand Conclave Resource Guide

    • Dr. Moses C. Norman, Sr. International Leadership Conference Resource Guide

  • Created comprehensive program guides for key District gatherings:

    • 77th Second District Conference

    • James S. Avery, Sr. Shirtsleeve Conferences

    • Undergraduate Summits

    • Fall & Winter Council Meetings

  • Participated in chapter chartering ceremonies and conducted installations of chapter officers across the District.

  • Designed an attractive and robust 2025 Shirtsleeve Conference Sponsorship Package, enhancing donor engagement.

  • Represented the Second District at all Supreme Council Meetings and international planning sessions, including:

    • 84th Grand Conclave – Tampa, FL

    • 2025 International Undergraduate Summit – Atlanta, GA

    • 2025 Dr. Moses C. Norman, Sr. International Leadership Conference – Detroit, MI

III. Strengthening Committees and Building District Capacity

  • Collaborated closely with District committee chairs to meet—and in many cases exceed—annual goals and expectations, helping position the Second District among the most productive in the fraternity.

  • Increased undergraduate engagement and visibility within committee structures.

  • Significantly elevated committee recognition and transparency through:

    • 2025 Fall & Winter District Committee Showcases (Virtual)

    • 77th Second District Conference Primer (Virtual)

    • “Focus on Leadership” Committee Chairman Recognition Campaign

    • District Committee Fairs

  • Partnered with committee chairs to begin developing uniform Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for District committees to improve continuity and efficiency.

IV. Strategic Planning & Accountability

  • Held weekly standing meetings with the District Representative to address emerging needs, opportunities, and operational challenges within the Second District.

  • Worked with the Site Selection Committee to restore District Conferences to an 18–24-month planning cycle, promoting higher-quality venues, pricing, and preparation.

  • Submitted quarterly written reports to the District Representative detailing progress, challenges, and measurable outcomes.

  • Built strong relationships with First Vice District Representatives across the fraternity, sharing best practices and strengthening inter-District alignment.

  • Provided steady, reliable support and counsel to the District Representative, ensuring consistent leadership and continuity of strategic priorities.
